Meet Our Team

I’m Richard Baglow, Director of Tutor Doctor Bolton West. Before joining Tutor Doctor, I spent over 15 years in sales, business development and relationship management, working with organisations across both the public and private sectors. My background has always been about understanding people’s needs, building trust and helping them find the right solution.

I became a Tutor Doctor franchisee because I believe every child deserves the right person in their corner. As a parent myself, I know how important confidence is in a child’s education, and how quickly a young person can lose belief in themselves if they don’t get the right support at the right time.

When I look back at my own school years, the people who made the biggest difference were the teachers and adults who took an interest, challenged me and helped me believe I was capable of more. I want Tutor Doctor Bolton West to provide that same kind of encouragement and support for local students.

I’m based locally and am passionate about supporting families across Bolton West, Westhoughton, Hindley, Atherton and the surrounding areas. Outside of work, I’m a dad, a keen triathlete, have completed Ironman events, and enjoy philosophy, writing and spending time with my family.
