Meet the Owner

With a Degree and Master’s in Education and more than 25 years’ experience across early years, primary, secondary and adult learning, I’m passionate about helping every student build confidence and achieve their potential.  Throughout my career I’ve led teaching teams, planned and delivered programmes, and worked closely with families to ensure the right support is in place at the right time.

As a Tutor Doctor franchisee, I use that experience to match learners with the right tutor and create a personalised plan that fits their goals, learning style and schedule.  I am known for building strong relationships, communicating clearly, and bringing practical solutions to challenges, so students feel supported, motivated and able to make real progress.

A partnership with schools and Plymouth City Council to provide flexible tuition and targeted support will enable me to continue supporting young people in Plymouth, whether that is helping pupils catch up, building core skills, supporting SEND and SEMH needs, or boosting confidence ahead of key transitions and exams.  My aim is to complement what schools are already doing, with high-quality, personalised support that helps learners thrive.
