Meet Our Team

Amrit Rahi-Deogun leads the Tutor Doctor Greenwich team having launched the business in August 2017. The company has gone from strength to strength, and we now have over 100 tutors on the books and the number of families and schools we work with has almost doubled year-on-year. Amrit puts the success down to her experience working in education, within both schools and youth services – supporting children with their learning. After realising this passion could become her business, Amrit has never looked back.

Lydia heads up client care, she is responsible for matching the perfect tutor for each client, and making sure that once the tutoring is in progress things run smoothly and students get the maximum out of their tuition.

Vanessa is responsible for welcoming and onboarding all new tutors, ensuring that all paperwork is thoroughly checked and safeguarding policies are read and accepted before we start to match tutors to clients.

Hayley is in charge of tutor recruitment - ensuring that the very best tutors are recruited and vetted. She is an experienced recruitment and resourcing professional as well as being a passionate and committed school governor in her free time.

Maria is our educational consultant. She is responsible for tutor assessment and advises on our work in schools. As an ex-deputy headteacher, her expertise in helping shape our tutoring programmes is invaluable.

Prabha is responsible for overall Finance and IT management. She uses her expertise in Finance software and project management amongst other things to liaise with clients for setting up new enrolments, tracking regular client payments, paying tutors, daily booking keeping, coordination with accountants, head office and IT support teams.

Holly is a strategic consultant primarily responsible for analysing business practices, goals and making suggestions for improvements in the company direction. She provides support for internal planning processes to achieve growth and profit. She was one of the earliest key members of the team during the company’s formation. She is no longer with the team full-time but pitches in when the team needs her.
