Karen

Tutor

I have been teaching secondary and sixth form art and design for the past 19 years. During that time, I have become increasingly interested in how art can support other areas of education and be used to support children and young people struggling with emotional and mental health issues. I have completed additional training in Children and Young people’s mental health, counselling skills and Drawing and Talking methods. The approach I take in one to one sessions is most suitable for children of primary school age and aims to ease anxieties and emotional barriers to learning.
