Ian Frankish
After a successful career teaching and managing educational institutions across Asia, Africa and Europe, Ian Frankish returned to his roots in West Hull with a clear mission: to help local pupils reach their potential through personalised education support. With over twenty-five years in education and a BSc Honours in Sport Science, Ian brings deep understanding of the challenges pupils face at different stages of their school life, from primary through to GCSEs and A-Levels. As a parent of two teenagers himself, he knows the stress families experience when trying to find the right support, which is why he's dedicated to ensuring every match is right. His team at Tutor Doctor West Hull has already delivered over 21,000 hours of one-to-one tutoring across Hull and surrounding areas. When families contact Ian, they work directly with him to discuss their child's specific needs and goals. He then personally selects and matches a tutor from his fully background-checked team, ensuring not just academic fit but the right personality match for each pupil. His commitment extends beyond traditional tutoring, working with local schools and supporting vulnerable pupils who may be disengaged from mainstream education.
