Rob & Lynne Kerrison
When Rob Kerrison's children were starting school in 2010, he and his wife Lynne made a decision that would help thousands of Cambridge families: they left their successful corporate careers to build a local tutoring service focused on helping children fulfil their potential. Rob brought years of marketing experience, but more importantly, he brought a parent's understanding of what families need when their child needs extra support. Over the past fourteen years, Tutor Doctor Cambridge has delivered more than 149,000 hours of one-to-one tutoring and built strong relationships with local schools, who trust them to support their pupils both in school and at home. Rob remains hands-on in the business, leading a team that includes dedicated education consultants who meet with every family to understand their child's specific needs. He personally oversees the careful matching process that pairs each pupil with the right tutor from their team of DBS-checked professionals, ensuring families get the personalised, safe, one-to-one support their children deserve.
