Kerry Jackson
Kerry Jackson's 25-year career in education has taken them from early years classrooms through to adult learning centers, giving them a deep understanding of how pupils learn at every stage. With both a degree and master's in Education, Kerry has led teaching teams, planned programmes, and worked closely with families to ensure the right support is in place at the right time. This experience now shapes how Kerry runs Tutor Doctor Central Plymouth, where they work in partnership with schools and Plymouth City Council to provide flexible tuition that complements what schools are already doing. Whether a pupil needs help catching up, building core skills, preparing for GCSEs or A-Levels, or managing SEND and SEMH needs, Kerry personally meets with each family to understand their child's specific challenges and goals. They then match them with a carefully selected local tutor who can provide personalised one-to-one support that fits the pupil's learning style and the family's schedule. Kerry's commitment to clear communication and practical solutions means families always know where they stand and pupils feel genuinely supported to make real progress.
