Get A Free ConsultationIt starts with a free consultation. We talk with you about your childs goals, school and year group, learning style and availability. We then match a tutor who is a good fit for subject expertise and personality. Lessons are one-to-one in your home or online. After each session you receive a report with what was covered, progress and next steps. Start times vary by subject and availability, but many families begin within one to two weeks of the consultation.
Yes. Our local tutors teach in line with the National Curriculum and with what your child is covering at school. For GCSE and A-Level we work to the specific exam board used by your school, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas. For primary pupils we support KS1 and KS2 and Year 6 SATs preparation. We also help with revision planning, past papers and exam technique. If you are unsure about your childs exam board, we can confirm this during the free consultation.
We support pupils from primary through to A-Level. Common requests include: Primary: reading, phonics, writing, spelling, maths and SATs preparation. KS3: English, maths and science to rebuild foundations before GCSEs. GCSE: Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science, History, Geography, Computer Science, French and Spanish. A-Level: Maths and Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, Economics and Psychology, plus targeted exam technique. We also offer 11+ preparation in selective areas only. If you are not sure whether the 11+ applies to your family, please ask in the consultation.

We begin by agreeing clear goals, for example moving from a grade 3 to a 4 in GCSE maths, or building confidence with KS2 reading. Tutors complete a session report after every lesson so you can see topics covered, strengths, gaps and next steps. We review progress with you regularly and adjust the plan as school topics, mocks and assessments change. Many families tell us they see improvements in confidence first, followed by better classwork, homework and exam results.
Yes. Many of our tutors are experienced in supporting neurodivergent learners, including pupils with ADHD, dyslexia and autism, as well as students who are anxious or have fallen behind. One-to-one tutoring allows us to set the right pace, use clear step-by-step explanations and build trust. We focus on confidence and small wins first, then move to stronger outcomes. We are happy to work with any support strategies you already use at home or school.
